Qualification Purpose:

Learners will develop behaviour management plans, implement proactive and reactive strategies, and collaborate with colleagues to foster a positive learning climate. The unit emphasises emotional intelligence, restorative approaches, and the impact of behaviour on engagement, safety, and achievement.

This unit equips learners with the knowledge and practical tools to design, implement, and evaluate assessment in further education settings. Learners will explore different types of assessment, formative, summative, diagnostic, and holistic, and understand principles of fairness, validity, reliability, and inclusivity.
